Risk Disclosure

Read this before you buy anything from us, and before you use anything we sell. It is the most important page on this website.

Version 3.0 · Effective 31 August 2026

1. You can lose money, and you can lose all of it

Trading futures, forex, CFDs, stocks and shares carries substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor. You could lose all of your initial investment, and with leveraged products you could lose more than you put in.

Only risk capital should be used for trading — money you can lose without damaging your financial security or your lifestyle. If losing the money would change how you live, do not trade with it.

2. Leverage works both ways

Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk. The high degree of leverage available can work against you as easily as for you, and can produce large losses as well as large gains. Before trading, consider your objectives, your level of experience, and how much risk you can genuinely tolerate.

3. Past performance tells you nothing about the future

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results, and cannot guarantee them. Every moment in the market is unique. No result we or anyone else has shown you implies you will achieve the same.

4. Everything we publish is education, not advice

Our courses, indicators, dashboards, signals, forums, Discord, blog and eBooks are for educational purposes. They are general information and educational commentary. They are not investment advice, and nothing in them is a personal recommendation — see clause 5 of our Terms of Service.

We do not know your circumstances. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not provide regulated services. If you want advice about your own situation, speak to an independent financial adviser.

Every trading decision is yours — what you enter, what you avoid, where your stop sits, when you exit. You take responsibility for all of it.

5. Trades we show are hypothetical

Any trade shown in our material, community spaces or marketing should be treated as hypothetical and should not be expected to be reproduced in a live account.

6. The limits of hypothetical results

Hypothetical performance results have inherent limitations. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in practice there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical results and the actual results later achieved.

Hypothetical results are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. Hypothetical trading involves no financial risk, and no hypothetical record can account for the impact of financial risk on real trading — the ability to withstand a loss, or to stay with a method through a losing run, are material factors that affect real results and cannot be simulated. Many other factors, in the markets generally and in the implementation of any specific method, cannot be fully accounted for and can adversely affect real results.

7. Software is supplied as-is

All MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, TradingView and other software, indicator files, templates and presets are supplied on an “as is” basis. By downloading and using them you accept that you do so at your own risk. Indicators apply rules to price data and display a result; they do not know your position, your account or your circumstances, and a signal is not an instruction to trade.

8. Alerts and automation

8.1 Our indicators and dashboards can raise alerts — on-screen, by push, by email, or to a webhook. Alerts are informational. Delivery is not guaranteed: they can be delayed, duplicated, or fail entirely because of your platform, your connection, a third-party service, or a rate limit. Never build a position on the assumption that an alert will arrive.

8.2 If you route our alerts or signals into a broker, a copier, or any automation, that is your decision and your responsibility. We do not execute trades for you, we do not see your account, and we do not monitor your positions.

8.3 Our Expert Advisors place orders on the account you attach them to, using the settings you choose. You are responsible for those settings, for the account you run them on, and for supervising them. Test on a demo account first.

9. The same indicator will not read identically on every platform

9.1 We publish for MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and TradingView. The same logic can produce different values on each, because the platforms use different data feeds, different timestamps and session definitions, different rounding, and different bar-building rules. Your broker’s feed differs from another broker’s feed in the same way.

9.2 Market data reaching our tools comes from your platform and your broker, not from us. It may be delayed, revised or gapped. Treat it as indicative and verify anything you intend to trade on.

9.3 A difference between platforms is not by itself a fault. If you think an indicator is genuinely misbehaving, tell us at support@itradeaims.net with the platform, symbol, timeframe and broker, and we will look.

10. Results other people report

10.1 Any testimonial or result shared by a customer reflects that person’s own experience. It is not typical, it is not a promise, and it is not evidence of what you would achieve.

10.2 We are a software and education business. We have no access to any customer’s brokerage account or statements, so we cannot verify the trading results anyone reports to us, and we do not claim to. Outcomes vary with skill, risk management, discipline, account size, broker and market conditions.

10.3 Any performance figure we publish ourselves — a backtest, a forward test, a chart of historical signals — is illustrative and subject to the limitations in clause 6.

11. Notice for visitors in the United States

This section applies to visitors and customers in the United States.

CFTC Rule 4.41

HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING FOREIGN EXCHANGE (FOREX) CAN BE SUBSTANTIAL. YOU SHOULD THEREFORE CAREFULLY CONSIDER WHETHER SUCH TRADING IS SUITABLE FOR YOU IN LIGHT OF YOUR FINANCIAL CONDITION. THE HIGH DEGREE OF LEVERAGE THAT IS OFTEN OBTAINABLE IN FOREX TRADING CAN WORK AGAINST YOU AS WELL AS FOR YOU. THE USE OF LEVERAGE CAN LEAD TO LARGE LOSSES AS WELL AS GAINS.

12. We make no income claims

We do not claim, promise or imply that you will make money, recover losses, replace an income, or achieve any particular return by using our products. If you encounter such a claim anywhere in our marketing, it is an error. Tell us at support@itradeaims.net and we will remove it.

13. Our responsibility

We are never responsible for your trading losses. What we are and are not responsible for more generally is set out in clause 15 of our Terms of Service, which does not exclude anything the law does not permit us to exclude.
