HUNT 2.0 - Backtesting - AKA THE BANANA METHOD

Hi 

We should have created this section in the forum years and years ago. I always ask everyone to backtest the method. 
If you are in stage 1: You should be backtesting Setup 1  signals. 

Do your backtesting for the last week and Share your results in topic.

I'm using 2R target, and 1R stop loss using the range of the candle. Min SL will be 10 max 20ish. 

I don't know why but I'm getting some seriously good results for this month. 

Could someone do the same testing as per the TAB in the Scan Sheet. Jasmien posts forex signals to the same sheet. 

So here are the results so far 

No. of Pairs Tested   = 5 
Total Signals and Trades = 24
Total R's  Profit = 30
Winners = 18 Losers 6 
This must be wrong ... Why don't check it for yourself?

I have Included Pictures to the September Backtesting Page ... Pre and Post trade picture and refined it. Some trades were taken on very lose definition. The Resutls are now 28 Trades , Total 24 R profit based on 2R exit and 18.5 based on Trailing Boxes.

I have been focusing on the Waltz pattern as well as seeds in a trend.   What kind of statistical results do you get get when you test the Waltz method as well as all seeds only when trading with a nice trend.  Meaning the 10 and 20 ema are in a nice upward slope and you have had an impulsive wave.

Hi Luke 

Thanks for the question. I have not done systematic in depth analysis on the WALTZ pattern alone but the seed method or the Inside Bar candles have a proven edge depending on the kind of trade management you apply to it. 

In the backtesting above, you see many seed signals taken. Seeds give us a huge edge because the Risk in terms of pips is small and reward is multiple R's. So WALTZ or HUNT Seeds are my GO TO signals .. 

The most important thing is to see that impulse move before you consider a signal.
